Sooo….call me naive, but I just recently broke into the world of the 29er (or anything besides a 26 MTB). Can wheels this wide be run on, say, a Specialized 29er HardRock Sport Disc, 2013? Front fork is no problem, rear fork could be a bit squeaky, unless run with a lower-profile tire. Mostly, looking to run wider, lower-pressure tires/studs for my winter riding. Any suggestions or constructive comment would be very much appreciated. Thanks!
